It's been a while, but hey look! An animation! Here's a small animation exercise featuring my character, Nina, running with shots from the front, side, and three quarter view. I started it a while ago, but just now got the time and energy to finish it. Everything was done up in Adobe Flash.

TF2Newbs.com Intros
Here are some intros I did up for TF2Newbs.com, an online community for the multiplayer FPS, Team Fortress 2. These intros are for their event videos that they post from time to time and for fun, I did up two versions.

King Candy Lip Sync Animation Final(ish)
Didn't feel much like sleeping tonight, so I pulled this old file out. This is more or less the final version for it for now, as I don't feel like tackling the second half of the clip my friend recorded. It's all just manical laughing anyway and though I have all the mouth shapes roughed out for that second half, I just don't have the time or energy to really do it right now.
Either way, here's a good portion - and the main line of the clip anyway - final lined with colour for you all. Enjoy : )

11 Second Club August 2013 Entry Final
My final version of the entry I submitted to the 11 Second Club's August 2013 competition. I didn't win, but I did come in the Top 50, with my video ranking 25 out of the 144 entries submitted. To me, that in itself is an accomplishment! Whoo!

LP Channel Opening Animation
An opening animation I did for my Let's Play channel at my other YouTube account, TheForte7. It was animated in Flash to a little diddy from Newgrounds.com called Scrambling Eggs by robothair.

Hake WIP
WIP for the Hake animaton. Here's the first 20 seconds, though the last few are still in roughs. This is at least my goal point for my final, as I only needed 10 seconds I think.

"Hake" Character Sheets
Real quick character sheets for my short film in Flash. I realize I didn't write the romanized names down on the two sheets, but their names are Kaede and Hake respectively. I know the film is also currently titled "Hake" but like I said, that means "paintbrush" and Hake is a painter. Kaede's name means "maple" and though it's hard to tell from the three quarter angle, her hair is shaped like an upside down maple leaf, the little hair sticking up being like a stem.

"Hake" Animatic
An animatic for a short film I'm working on in Flash. It only has a placeholder scratchtrack and the title itself is just a placeholder, but I can start animating on it soon. The title means "paintbrush" in Japanese, because the little girl, Kaede, is helping her father find his missing paintbrush.
The whole thing probably won't be animated fully this semester, as I only had to storyboard 20 seconds, but hopefully I'll be able to finish it at some point.

Fez
Currently learning Flash and our first assignment is to familiarize ourselves with the tools by creating a character. I was just doodling around and came up with this. It's more of a joke design really. This is Fez, a character based off the others from the Mad Hatter Corps. People have been telling me to do a Fez design (mainly because of Doctor Who) but I've been putting it off until now.
He's the first kid character I have for that particular group. I don't know if I'll keep him around or not. I have it in my head that he's a stubborn little guy who likes to follow the other Hats around - namely Tricorne and Feathercap - because he wants to be a bounty hunter himself, but he's too young for the group.
I realized after I did this up that he looks an awful lot like Gatsby, in terms of hair and facial expression and the fact they're both overweight >< I don't know why I tend to gravitate towards that setup for characters. However, if that's the case, I could always say the two are brothers or something. Haha I'm not sure.
